FML is on the move!

Yap, we had to move it YET again.  But better it is before we build around it... Blessing in disguise I guess.

Now we're in a more rural area and we'll be able to help my grandpa at his farm.  The insane woman is looking at buying nearby land for herself (works for us, I got my eye on the bunkhouse for a super tiny art studio!) and there is the possibility of me and Sal getting it to ourselves for a few weeks so we can have some time just us and probably the hounds because they are troublemakers.

So that is exciting.  Before my Birthday we'll be doing to build the structure and lay grass with our nest egg (thank goodness because we were about to need to tap into it!  Life is rough when no one hires).

While we're there I'll probably do some daily vlogs about our first days living in the camper alone even though it would only be a few days... I'll do a blog post on it too and I'll probably take that time to do a post on Princess Lily because we'll be taking her along because she loves long rides and she enjoys tons of attention.  We were going to take River since she has separation anxiety but Lily is just a handful so we wanna bring her with us to save ma some grief.  River is usually okay for a day or two as long as we call and leave with our "Travel" bags... Now if any boxes go with us she'll flip her shit.

While we're staying we'll be taking tons of measurements because we need to do something about our closets and I wanna get a hanging bin thing but I need the size... And it is surprisingly hard to find out how big a bloody damn closet is... Also, want to buy or build some pull-out shelving for our pantry because lazy susans help but we gotta take everything out to really reach them and we need all that space!

We'll also be looking at the decor.  I'm an artist so I want to hang a few of my pieces and some art I've found and just want in view.  Make it homey.  I also need to find a place for our logo.  We are going to have 2-3 logos on the camper and I'm currently trying to pick a design.  I want one inside, one on the back, and one on the side.  I want one to be a saying, another a welcome sign of sorts, and the back one to be a link to the blog because hey, its aMutt Hutt.

It'll also be a chance for us to figure out what we will and won't use because I need a lot of room for my art supplies since its a career choice.  But Sal and I are also big gamers and he is unwilling to use a laptop so we have to have PC room.  I'm also setting up an Etsy, a personal store, and the like because I enjoy doing crafts and they got to go.  I work cheap for that reason, I love doing it and I just need to get by not get rich.

I also hope to start offering things for you our lovely followers who read my random off the wall rants.  I hope they will be more focused once were IN the camper since I'll have an easier time staying on that topic.

I think i've rambled enough for this post so this is Linda, signing off! /salute

Meet the Mutts: Hoss

Today I want you to meet a member of the pack that till recently we werent sure if he'd be with us for the move...

Hoss just had his spleen removed days ago.  What the vet thought was pneumonia was actually a infected spleen... Nope, wait!  Thats not a infection, its CANCER!

As the vet opened him up the spleen started rupturing and had 5 golf ball sized masses and it was the size of a large dinner plate...

The surgery was a success.  This Senior pupper dodged a bullet, the cancer hadnt spread and was completely removed with his spleen.

As I type this he is happily wagging his tail and smiling just like in the photo.

This photo was taken 2 days after the surgery when we picked him up.

Hoss is a rescue between 12-16 years old.  He is 100% healthy except for arthritis (This was the vets opinion, this is one healthy dog!).  And even though hes a rescue we found him and he was 2+ full grown... We've had him 11 years.. So yes, this is that super ripped, healthy old man you see lifting weights.  He is the Chuck Norris of doggos and we call him Big Boss sometimes.  And he is a very, VERY happy boy-o.  Always wagging his tail and smiling like in the photo.

And I love him soo much.  He is my baby.  He is protective, loves kids, and has a great attitude.

I have spoiled him rotten.  He also likes giving "gifts."

Not like cats... He brings us toys!  Food?  He gets a toy for us.  Outside?  Finds a toy.  Home? Have a toy!

He also dislikes cats... That and his barking (He is a hound, it is loud and endless but expected for his breed).. Thats his only bad points to me.

And.. Thats Hoss-Boss.
